Oghenekaro Elijah to wear jersey number 12 for the Yankari Elephants
Bauchi based Wikki Tourists FC new acquisition Oghenekaro Elijah will wear jersey number 12 after completing his move to the Yankari Elephants during the Nigeria Professional Football League transfer window last September, Felele247 Media understands.
The former Abia Warriors centre back joined the Yankari Elephants from rivals Plateau United in the just concluded 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League season with the 2017 Champions.
Oghenekaro Elijah started his professional football career with Nembe City FC of Bayelsa state before joining Abia Warriors.
He was part of the Plateau United squad that won the Nigeria Professional Football League title in 2017.
In 2019, Kastina United announced that they have secured his signature for the 2019/2020 season where he made 20 league appearances for the Changi boys before the advent of Corona virus which forced the league to be abandoned after matchday 25.
