Match officials should infuse what they gain from the fitness test – Tade Azeez

President of the Nigeria Referees Association Alhaji Tade Azeez has urge match officials who have successfully completed their Physical Fitness Test for the Northern zone which kick off this Thursday at the Abubakar Tarawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi to infuse what they gain from the fitness test in all their discipline, Felele247 Media reports.

The NRA President flew into Bauchi on Tuesday to monitor the physical fitness test for the Match officials that will officiate the Nigeria second division and the Nationwide league next season.

Alhaji Tade Azeez urges the participant who scale the rigorous fitness test to imbibe what they gain during and after the fitness test on any match that would assign to them in the new season, he made the disclosure in an interview with Felele247 Media.

“As we can see, this is not a normal fitness test, its a very intensive fitness test, I urge them to be proactive not only on the pitch, but also off pitch”

“Refereeing is a discipline on it own,it shape your body and your mental awareness”

“We had to prepare ahead of the new season, few weeks ago who rounded up the grade one fitness test excercise,

Bbut due to the large volume of match officials from both second division and the Amateur division, we decided to use two centers this year”, he concluded.

Match officials that scale through the physical fitness test will have the opportunity to administer matches next season.
