Plateau United embark on two weeks break
Canceled their proposed warm up game against rivals Willi Tourists
Jos outfit Plateau United management has reportedly called off their schedule inter-club warm up game against their rivals Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi this Sunday January1st 2023, Felele247.com.ng confirm.
Last week, Felele247 Media reported that 16 clubs agreed to go on two weeks break for the New Year celebration to allow their players to rest and spend time their families after three months of rigorous training and warm up games.
The 2017 Nigerian champions posted this on their official face page platform, the post reads “The proposed friendly match between Wikki Tourists of Bauchi and Plateau United slated for Sunday 1st January, 2023 has been put off.
This is due to the two weeks break embarked upon by Plateau United.
Plateau United featured in the 2021/22 CAF Champions League before the team dropped out of the CAF Inter-Club competition.
