Rangers internationals coaching department gets two match ultimatum

Enugu state government through the state ministry of sports has issued a two-match must-win ultimatum to the coaching department of the seventh-time Nigerian Champions Rangers International of Enugu after a poor start of the season, Felele247 Media understands.

The 2016 champions lost their first oriental derby clash against their regional neighbors Abia Warriors 2-0 in Awka in the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League opener and a 1-0 defeat to Lobi Stars in Jos in matchday 02.

“You will recall I had the curse to issue a query to the team in the much-publicized Tingo Media-sponsored preseason tournament in Lagos”

“In your response to the query, the state government and supporters all over the world consoled that the preseason tournament does not translate into the league games proper”

“The state government and fans of the club are concerned that the fortune and the future of the club in the current season is dwindling under your watch”

“It is on the notice that the State Ministry of Sports through the management of Rangers Internationals has provided  all your needed  logistics support to provide high performance with the team, Rangers owe none of her players and officials entitlement howsoever”

“Recall that all contracts of all the technical crew of Rangers are “Performance Based”. Following from above therefore a Two Match ultimatum is hereby issued to all the technical crew raw beginning from Rangers” next home match at Awka Anambra state on the 27th January 2023,”

Rangers Internationals are playing their home games for the second time since the renovation of their home Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium started to years ago.
