Felele247.com.ng have scooped fhat Nigeria U23 Super Eagles coaches and backroom have been told not to resume to the camp as a measure to cut cost.

The Olympic Eagles will engage Guinea U23 national team on Wednesday at the MKO Abiola Stadium in the first leg of the leg of the AFCON U23 qualification series , with the second set to hold on Saturday in Guinea Conakry.

Felele247.com.ng gathered that some of the affected backroom are the team’s cordinator Bashir Badawy and one of the assistant coach of the team and current Plateau United manager Fidelis Ilechukwu were told not to resume to camp, the former Heartland manager was with the team in their last match against Tanzania.

Also, from the initial team invitation 16 out of the 30 players invited to the team’s camp in Abuja discovered to be overage which pave the way for the coach to invite 15 foreign based players to camp.

The match will be final hurdle to qualify for the AFCON U23 later this year.
