Hamza Abara in pole position to take charge of Gombe United
There are indications that Nigeria 🇳🇬 Premier League side Gombe United will waste no time to get a coach to fill up the vacant technical adviser position left by Aliyu Zubairu few days ago, as reports have it that several coaches have shown interest in the vacant position, Felele247.com.ng scooped.
It was gathered that former El-Kanemi Warriors coach Hamza Abara is in favorite position to take charge of the club.
Before joining El-Kanemi Warriors Hamza Abara was chief coach at Plateau United working along side Fidelis Ilechukwu. He oversaw El-Kanemi Warriors first away win against Nasarawa United in Jos after the club had experienced poor run of form.
Abara holds one of the best time record in the Nigeria Premier League while at Niger Tornadoes in 2017/2018 season with nine games unbeaten.
In 2020/2021 season, nine times Nigerian 🇳🇬 Champions Enyimba FC announced his arrival as Chief Coach with Fatai Osho as technical adviser before joining Plateau United
