3SC Mourns Departed NRA Member Rafiu Opeyemi
The management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), mourns the demise of a member of the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA), Oyo State Council, Mr Rafiu Kazeem Opeyemi.
The deceased, who until the sad occurrence, was the chairman, Ona Ara Referees Society, died on Saturday evening in a ghastly accident.
The late referee was returning from a fitness test in Abuja in the company of four others when the mishap occurred at Osu, Ilesha, Osun State.
“The news of the demise of Rafiu Kazeem Opeyemi, a fine gentleman deeply saddens us.
“We are using this medium, to sympathize with the members of the Oyo State Referees Association and also the family of the deceased
“It is our prayer that God will grant him eternal rest and give his family, friends and colleagues, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
We also wish the trio of Oni Ebenezer Segun, Ajadi Odunayo and Amos, a member of the association from Ogun State, who sustained injuries in the accident and are receiving treatments, and quick recovery.
