Abia Angels Unveil Former Free Town Stars of South Africa Manager as New Coach

Abia Angels FC on Friday, unveiled former Salpa Tehran of Iran and Free Town Stars of South Africa Coach, Prince Nwoke Benjamin as the new manager of the side.

Nwoke was unveiled in a colourful unveiling ceremony which was attended by pressmen. Nwoke comes with loads of experience, having managed clubs in Nigeria, South Africa and Iran, including Heartland FC of Owerri and Apex Krane.

As a footballer, he played for Shell FC, Bright Stars FC, Port Harcourt City FC, Von FC, Pepple United FC, Silver Stars FC in South Africa and Freetown Stars FC in South Africa.

He has a FIFA/SAFA GK Pro Licence from South Africa, NIS Certificate, AFC License from Singapore, CONMEBOL license from Brazil and CAF A and B license from Nigeria and Algeria.

He has also managed Freetown Stars FC in South Africa, Sharks FC, Depioneers FC, Desportive FC, Police Mess FC in Iran, Salpa Tehran FC in Iran, Heartland FC of Owerri, Apex Krane FC and Heartland Queens FC.

The 37 year old, who has a degree in Political Science, has been given a target to lead Abia Angels to the Super 6, win the State FA Cup and qualify for the Semifinal of the Federation Cup. He has the task of taking Abia Angels to greater heights and being among the best in the country.
