Abubakar Sadiq Adamu completes Cleopatra FC move

Nigerian midfielder Abubakar Sadiq Adamu has completed his transfer to Egptian first division team Cleopatra FC after the expiration of his current with the ninth times’ Nigerian Champions Enyimba FC, Felele247 understands.

The left-wing midfielder, who can also play in defense, also captained Enyimba FC last season, completed his medicals on Thursday before putting a pen to a four-year contract with the club for an undisclosed fee excluding bonuses, will hit the training ground next Monday next week to get to shape ahead of the new Egyptian football league season.

Abubakar Sadiq Adamu started his football career with Jos-based GBS Academy before joining the Norwegian side FK Haugesund on a year contract. In 2016, Nigeria Premier Football League side Yobe Desert Stars announced his arrival on loan from FC Haugesund and impressive performance, Heartland FC of Owerri his arrival ahead of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Premier Football League kick-off.

He joined Enyimba FC in the 2021 off-season and he was named the team captain where he won the league with the club before joining the 9th times Nigerian Champions Enyimba FC in 2022.
