Rivers State Football Coaches Association partner Berackiah International for Coaching Course
Preparations have reached an advanced level ahead of the 2023 edition of Rivers State Football Coaches Association in conjunction with Berackiah International Grassroot Football Coaches Clinic planned for 25-29 September 2023 at the Gowon Yakubu stadium, Elekahia.
Vice chairman of the local organizing committee (LOC), Coach Raphael Akunna revealed that the association deemed it fit to train the grassroots coaches in the state and beyond in order to keep them updated as the game of football is dynamic in nature.
Coach of Rivers United and chairman of the Rivers State Football Coaches Association, Stanley Eguma reacting to the forthcoming training highlighted the importance of grassroots coaches as they play a pivotal role in harnessing the large pool of talents in the country.
Also present is the CEO of Berackiah Coaching Clinic, Mr Wonders Nduka who explained that the training was given approval by the Nigeria Football Federation to help train local coaches across the 774 LGA in Nigeria.
Kim Ronningtad, a UEFA License A coach from Norway, and other invited instructors are expected to deliver keynote lectures.
The five-day RSFCA Berackiah grassroots football coaches clinic is open to coaches within and outside Rivers State.
