FC Ona-Pal Chairman chairman escapes death
The Chairman of FC Ona-Pal Engr Obinna Peter Paul, Tuesday morning escaped death along the notorious Ikwuano axis of the Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene Highway following an accident involving his car.
He was said to be travelling with his Lexus car when the accident happened which pushed him off the road into a gully beside the road.
Engr Obinna Peter Paul who was driving himself is currently receiving treatment at a Specialist Teaching Hospital.
Obinna Paul who confirmed the incident on phone said: “Yes, it is true; it was God’s mercy that saved me from the accident. I am at a Specialist Hospital now. It happened at Ikwuano my own village while I was coming from Uyo to Umuahia and my vehicle was involved.
It will be recalled that the FC Ona-Pal Chairman contested the Abịa State FA chairman election which he narrowly lost to Rev Onyeaghala Obioma .
