Sunday Adetunji Joins Slovenian FC Celje
Slovenian top fight side Football club Celje announces that it has agreed with the Serbian first league club Čukarički for a half-year loan of striker Sunday Adetunji. NK Celje has also secured the possibility of a buyout.
The 26-year-old forward and former Shooting Stars, Plateau United and Abia Warriors striker, who is 191 centimetres tall, began his professional career in his native Nigeria. By completing the statistics for the clubs El-Kanemi Warriors, Shooting Stars and Albia Warriors in the Nigerian First League (79 appearances, 31 goals), he earned his first transfer to Europe and played the autumn part of the 2019/20 season as a member of the Czech Pribram.

After another successful season, he was transferred to Čukarička, for which he scored on his debut against Crvena Zvezda.
