*My Target Is To Hit Double Digit And Help My Team Maintains NPFL Status* ~ Jonas Emmanuel
Niger Tornadoes latest acquisition and kid sensation Jonas Emmanuel has said his goals target for the season is to reach his first NPFL double digit and also to help the Ikon Allah Boys to maintain the status as an elite division team.
Speaking during a post match presser after his sensational debut goal for his new Club against hard fighting Dakkada FC of Uyo, the former Heartland FC player said… ” I am more than excited, this is a Club that I know and respect very well. The opportunity given to me by Coach Abubakar Bala Mohammed and my debut goal makes me a proud person. I want to help the team do better, that’s why I am here; to help the team and help my self. Its not all about selfishness or personal goal, but a collective goal, so that we can get to the top where we deserve to be, as a team.
*PERSONAL GOAL FOR THE SEASON:*
“From the beginning of the season, I set a personal goal for my self to achieve a double digit of goals, right now I’m currently on four goals and I hope to achieve that fit before the end of the season.
*NEXT GAME AGAINST PLATEAU UNITED:*
“Plateau United; I play them before, they’re a good side, but nonetheless, we are equally a better team, because I know with determination, there is nothing we can not achieve”.
Jonas Emmanuel had previously featured for Malumfashi FC, 36Lions FC, Kwara United FC and Heartland FC.
Jonas is a torn in the flesh of defenders, his energetic, pacy and brilliant performance against Dakkada is an indication that Tornadoes scoring deficiency is close to being a thing in the past.
