Match Report: Wikki Tourists vs Dakkada F.C

Match day 12 of the #npfl2022/23 abridge league group B between Wikki Tourists and Dakkada fc ended in a convincing 3-1 win by the Bauchi based npfl team in Bauchi.

Amah Chibundu open scores in the 21′ when he benefitted from a long pass by Zulkifilu in the box of Dakkada and wasted no time beating the defence line to slot in the goal for WIkki Tourists.

Dakkada fought back with all their strength and their effort was crowned with an equaliser in th 43′ by Prosper Ifeanyi who headed home the goal from a Corner kick that caught Wikki goalie off guard.

Pressure mounted on the visitors could not give a second goal for the home team as they retire to the dressing room for the first half break.

Nine minutes into the second half Salisu Ibrahim Magaji send the stadium into ectacy with his thundrlerbolt shot that gave Wikki Tourists the second goal at 54′ putting Wikki Tourists on the driving pedestal once again.
Dumbfounded by the goal the visitors became dejected and weak as the game progresses.

Amah Chibundu was on hand again in the 72′ when he scored his second goal in the match and the third for WIkki Tourists via a Cross by Abubakar Aliyu from the right wing worsening the situation for the visitors.

The general impressive Performance by the rejuvenated kaura boys was also appreciated by the supporters who cheered them till end of the game which stood at 3-1.

In a post Match interview Wikki Tourists Coach Abdullahi Adamu said:

It was a good match and we are happy with the result,this is the first time in the league that we scored three goals and we hope to continue like that till end of the Season In sha Allah

Wikki Tourists next match will be another encounter at home against Bayelsa United on Sunday 9/4/2023 match day 13.
