CAF President arrives Nigeria for Aisha Buhari Cup

CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe has arrived in Nigeria where he will attend the kick-off of the Aisha Buhari Cup this Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Lagos. 

Accompanied by Amaju Pinnick, President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Dr Motsepe will meet with various stakeholders across the country to discuss the progress of football in Africa, especially the development of women’s football. 

FIFA President Gianni Infantino will also be in the stands to watch the opening of the Aisha Buhari Cup. 

The competition features the national women’s teams from Nigeria, Mali, Cameroon, Ghana, Morocco and South Africa who have some of the best African footballers in their squads.
