2019 Aiteo cup finalist Niger Tornadoes have embarked on 12 days after gaining promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League in the just concluded 2020/2021 Nigeria National League season.

The Ikon Allah boys won the Nigeria National League playoff (Super 8) in Enugu after beating Shooting Stars SC 3-2 on the final day of the playoff,

The Technical Crew & Players of Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna have embarked on 12 days break after a laborious 2020/2021 Football Season, beginning from 14th to 26th of September 2021.

Felele247.com gathered that the Minna based team have placed eight on the transfer market, twenty-four (24) players were retained out of the thirty-two (32) registered.

The club wished the players affected success in their future endeavours and advised those retained to resume back to training at the appointed time unfailingly.

Niger Tornadoes will be hoping to bolster their squad ahead of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League kick-off.

Niger Tornadoes are two times Aiteo Cup finalist in 2017 and 2019; they lost Akwa United in 2017 and Kano Pillars in 2019.
