No more world cup qualifying games in Ivory Coast

Confederation of African Football CAF have released a statement banning Ivory Coast stadias from hosting any world cup qualifying matches, this is due to the nature of their football pitches, Felele247.com reports.

This statement comes after they witnessed the match between Ivory Coast and Cameroon which ended in a 2: 1 goal in favor of Ivory Coast
CAF has said that, Ivory Coast next qualifiers Match which was supposed to be played in Ivory Coast will now hold in either Senegal or Ghana.

7 Years ago CAF gave Ivory Coast an approval to host the AFCON 2023, same time they gave Cameroon an approval to host 2021 but due to the Corona virus outbreak it was shifted to 2024 and 2022 respectively.

It is disheartening to say Ivory Coast has not gotten even one pitch ready as of now.
