Portuguese club C.D Feirense with Nigeria owner could get promoted to Europe 5th best league according to Fifa Rating.

Nigerian Businessman Kunle Soname who is also the President of Remo star Football Club finalised the deal which makes him the owner of C.D Feirense on 9th October 2015

through his company TavisstockGlobal Resource Ltd, purchased 70 percent of the club, which plays in the Portuguese second devision after they were relegated in 2011.

Currently Feirense are 1st on the league Table with 15 points (5 wins and 1 lose) after Game week 6 and the next two teams on the table are Rio Aves with 13 points and Benfica B with 11 points.

According to most Portuguese pundit Feirense is one of the favorites to get promoted to Liga Bwin and it looked very likely after they beat 2nd place Rio Aves 4-0 last week.

Feirense squad is loaded with young players like 19 year old colombian striker Kerwin Vergas who is currently their Topscorer with 4 goals not forgetting 22 years old Nigerian Center back Onyemaechi and Defensive midfielder Enije.

Feirense has helped in promoting some Nigerian players like newly invited Nigeria international Marcus Abraham who was a able to get a loan move Portimonse in the portuguese first Division.Feirense also signed Super eagles Ogenekaro Etebo before selling him to stoke city for €7.2M and U-17 World Cup winner Dele Alampasu who is currently a free agent.

The relationship between Remo Stars and C.D Feirense in the Transfer market is very strong with over 20 Nigerian Footballers make a move from Remo Star to Feirense.

In the summer transfer window Feirense sold 23 year old Portuguese Center back Guilherme Ramos to Bundesliga club Armina Bielefeld for €1.2M which took their transfer earnings to approximately €9m since Soname took ownership of the Club.
