A.S Vita head coach thrown in the towel
Congolese side A.S Vita head coach Dominique Cionci has reportedly terminated his appointment with the Kinshasa giants,Felele247.com understands.
Cionci was appointed the head of the “Blue Dolphins” in August after departure of Florent Ibenge who joined RS Berkane.
The French tactician informed his players about his departure from AS VClub after today’s training session at the Martyrs Stadium.
Felele247.com gathered that the AS Vita communications officer of AS VClub did not deny the news, but let it be known that this resignation is not yet official, especially since the leaders of AS VClub are not entered by no letter from the French coach. “He surprised everyone, even the coordination. It is not to the players that he should announce his resignation, but to his superiors. There is a meeting of the coordination committee scheduled in a few hours, and we are waiting to know what will be decided”,
The contract between the French and the Congolese club spanned two seasons. So far, no one can explain the motivations behind this sudden break-up.
