The League Management Company (LMC) has secured a sponsorship deal ahead of the new season with Hero Lager Beer.
It could be recalled that the Chairman of the League Management Company, Alhaji Shehu Dikko said that;
There are sponsors lined up already and we hope before the commencement of the season we will unveil some of the sponsors”
Today in Lagos, Hero Lager Beer was unveiled as one of the sponsors of the Nigeria Professional Football League with the likes of Bet9ja and hosts of others to be unveiled soon.
The Eastern Clubs involved in the partnership are Enugu Rangers, Enyimba, Heartland, Abia Warriors, and FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
According to the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, the NFF and LMC will also announce a new sponsor on Thursday for the Federation and the NPFL.
The new NPFL season will kick off on Friday 17th across match venues, eight times champions Enyimba will square it against rivals Abia Warriors in the first Oriental derby of the season, while the Port Harcourt warlords Rivers United will face Lobi Stars in Makurdi.
