Vandrezzer FC sign Obinna Akuchie till 2024
Goalkeeper, Obinna Akuchie Jr has joined Nigeria’s second division giants Vandrezzer FC on a three-year contract that will see him stay at the club till 2024.
The safe pair of hands previously played for Gombe United, Afranco FC, and Konkalifa FC and has won three domestic trophies (Gombe Premier League, Bet9ja League, and Papilo League), all in the Nigeria Nationwide League.
Obinna in his first interview with VFC media praised the standard and quality of the club.
All glory to God for this great opportunity given to me here in VFC. I have played in other clubs but their standard isn’t to be compared with that of VFC.
Having a great former international goalkeeper trainee in the person of Coach Patrick Udo aka Flying Cat is a very huge achievement. I know my reasons of coming here and I won’t let this family down. GOD bless VFC. Won’t walk that road without you
Obinna has joined up with his new teammates after completing his move to VFC and is in line to feature in Saturday’s round of 32 games in the Lagos FA Cup.
