NPFL: Niger Tornadoes Management Promises To Clear Match Bonus Arrears

The Management of Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna has reiterated its commitment to the welfare of players.

This was contained in a statement by the media officer of the NPFL side, Alhassan Kutigi on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the acting Chairman of the Club Mallam Musa Matane who noted that it’s not habitual of the club to owe players, said the management will not relent on its oars towards giving them the best of attention.

He said “I want to assure you that, as far as this management is concerned, your salaries, match bonuses and other allowances is a top-most priority”.

“As you are all aware, It has never been in the history of this club to owe players their monthly entitlements and this record is up to date”. Matani Boasts

While charging the players to remain committed, he stressed that the pressing issue about their (players) match bonus will be attended to very soon.

“The issue relating to match bonuses is also being pursued vigorously and as soon as funds are available each and everyone of you will have a cause to smile”
assures the acting Chairman while responding to a call by the team’s general captain Ifeanyi Okoye.

Matane who commended the Niger State Government for its continuous support to the team urged the players to put their 4 nil defeat in their last match to Rangers behind them and focus on the future.

Also speaking, the Technical Adviser of the team Abubakar Bala Mohammed, who commended the acting chairman for his visit, said it would go a long way to boost the morale of the players, especially at this critical period.

Niger Tornadoes will hosts Rivers United on matchday 5 of NPFL.
