Transfer window battle: Young Africans snatch Stephen Ki from rivals

Tanzanian 🇹🇿 giants Young Africans have thrown in another punch after winning the 2021/2022 Tanzania Premier League ahead of arch rivals Simba SC, but this time is off the pitch.

The reigning champions have reportedly snatch Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 international Stephen Aziz Ki from the West African giants and Ivorian 🇨🇮 Ligue 1 Champions ASEC Mimosas on a two year contract for a record fee of $USD 200,000,Felele247.com understands.

The midfielder has been on the radar of the Red Lions after the Ivorian born playmaker featured against Simba SC in the 2022 CAF Champions League, where the player representative turned down Simba SC offer during the African midseason transfer window last January.

Aziz Ki was born in Ivory Coast and is of Burkinabé descent. He made his debut for Burkina Faso in a friendly 2-0 loss to Morocco on 24 March 2017.

Young Africans SC are expected to get busy during the off season as the team want to take their CAF Champions League campaign serious next season
