Wikki Tourists FC legends played a novelty match among eachother last Saturday after their training session at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi.
Present at the novelty match are former Nigerian international and coordinator of Nigeria Olympic football team (U23) to Brazil Abba Zicco, Yusuf Gimba who is the Chairman of the team,with former NIgeria international and present Bauchi state Football Association and Super Eagles coordinator Patrick Pascal (MON), Bala risky, ibrahim Maigandi, sallau zico, Baba jibrin, Danyaroro, Rabiu rangers, kawu Brazil, Hashimu Garba, Abubakar wajiya, Danladi kuki, Garba eje, Gebriel sule, Gebriel ebute suker, Bala Risky, Charaf, Ibrahim igne, yakubu Maza, cheche, Alhaji baby, sallau gola, Buhari gola, shehu zino, Babawo, sirajo sira, Bashir Saleh, malele Ibrahim.
Chairman remarks after the novelty emphasis that they plan to play some friendly with other league veterans around Nigeria, where they will meet and brainstorm on new ideas on how to support eachother and also work hand in hand with players union, the Nigeria Football Federation and the League Management Company.
“To re- unite, have cordial relationship, exhibit love and oneness, create avenue so that the upcoming players will emulate.
“The purpose of organising this novelty is to initiate a team where we can play and get together among other Nigeria Professional Football League legends within and outside Nigeria”
“To brainstorm and share ideas among ourselves, we aim of setting up a mini league for all the teams in Nigeria Professional Football League”
“We intend to liase with other former club legends within Nigeria and outside to be part of us”
“We don’t just want to play among ourselves, the main aim of coming up with this initiative is to kind of setup iniaitive fund for some our legend across Nigeria who may be I need of some kind assistant and guidance”
