A Nigerian third division Nasarawo FC based in Gombe has decided to change the narrative on how domestic clubs in Nigeria to make players contract to transparence where player’s contract signing monetary value will be made public.

Over the years NPFL clubs plying their in the premier league dont make their players contract monetary value public.

On the 3rd of July, 2022 Nassarawo FC of Gombe completed the signing of Muhammad Kabir Musa, a striker from FC Zenith for the initial sum of Fifteen Thousand Naira(#15,000) and a further Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Naira(#11,500) in add-ons.

The 21 year old striker will now continue his football development at Nassarawo FC.

With this feat by the club, Nasarawo FC has entered the history book in Nigeria as the first club to make their players contract signing monetary value and paperwork available to the public.
