Bolaji Sakin return to the pride of Rivers

Nigeria forward Bolaji Sakin has put pen to paper for a season with the Nigerian πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ Champions Rivers United after leaving Guinean πŸ‡¬πŸ‡³ giants Horoya AFC as a agent, Felele247.com understands,

Sakin was born inΒ Abidjan,Β CΓ΄te d’Ivoire to Nigerian parents, he arrived Nigeria at early and was spotted by a youth club Ijayapi Rock FC in Abuja.

Sakin began his professional career withΒ Kwara United F.C.Β during the 2011/2012 season.

In 2021/2013 he joined BauchiΒ Wikki TouristsΒ during the 2012/2013 season and joinedΒ Dolphins F.C.Β after a season.

The January transfer window sees him joining Abia Warriors in 2015 where he played integral part for the team which attracted current Nigeria Champions Rivers United.

On 1 January 2017, Sakin signed forΒ Nigeria Professional Football LeagueΒ sideΒ Rivers United FCΒ for an undisclosed fee, agreeing a two-year contract with the club.

While at Rivers United he appeared in the 2017Β CAF Confederations Cup, scoring goals against Uganda’s KCCA and Morocco’s FUS Rabat in otherwise losing efforts.

His performance caught the attention of Guinean giants Horoya AC in 2018, before ending his 4 years romance with the club.
