Rivers United reactivate Rabiu Ali interest

Felele247.com have scooped that Nigerian Champions Rivers United has reportedly renew their interest in bringing NPFL legend Rabiu Ali from Kano Pillars ahead of 2022/2023 opening season.

The 40 years old league veteran who has spend almost 15 season with his state club might end his romance with Sai Masu Gida after the team relegated to the second division for the time in 32 years.

In August 2021 Rivers United made a bold attempt to sign the attacking midfielder with a projection of One Million naira, but the forward turned rejected the offer citing the love he has for the club.

He is regarded as one of the club’s greatest ever players and one of the best players in Nigerian Professional Football League.
