Al Hilal Omdurman to unveil Florent Ibenge

Congo Kinshasa πŸ‡¨πŸ‡© tactician Florent Ibenge is in Sudanese capital Khartoum πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡© to finalise his move to Omdurman giants Al Hilal days after winning the Throne Cup with Berkane based RS Berkane, Felele247.com understands.

The Sudanese club have been monitoring the former AS Vita manager for almost two season and finally they have got their man as they begin their quest on the continent this year.

Felele247.com gathered that “The Seed Al Balad will unveil Ibenge will this Wednesday as the new manager to take charge of the club this week and with a reported budget of $1Million in their kitty for the coach.

Ibenge spent his early coaching career in France, managingΒ ES WasquehalΒ andΒ SC Douai.

He was manager of Chinese clubΒ Shanghai ShenhuaΒ from April to May 2012, and of Congolese teamΒ Vita ClubΒ from February 2014.
He became manager of theΒ DR Congo national teamΒ in August 2014, combining this role with his job at Vita Club.

He led DR Congo to theΒ 2016 African Nations ChampionshipΒ title in February 2016.

In March 2017, he announced that he intended to step down as national team manager in 2018.[He resigned in August 2019.Β After that, he returned to AS Vita Club. In July 2021 he became manager of Moroccan clubΒ RS Berkane.
