NPFL Get December 18th kick off date, as IMC awaits NFF approval

The 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season will kick off on the 18th of December, Felele247 Media can confirm.

The new date was agreed upon after the The Interim Management Committee( IMC) held a meeting with all the 20 clubs including the newly promoted clubs from the second division.

The 2021/2022 season under the former organiser League Management Company ended in June with Rivers United emerging as the winner.

The IMC under Hon. Elegbeleye has continued to work tirelessly to have the league resume before the end of the year.

According to the new update December 18, 2022, has been picked as the new kick-off date but it required approval from the Nigeria Football Federation.
