Fans furious over non inclusion of Bayelsa Queens defender Edet Glory Ubong to the Super Falcons

Edet Glory Ubong a member of Bayelsa Queens FC of Bayelsa state third place winning squad in last season CAF Women Champions League has been ignored by the technical adviser of the Super Falcons Randy Waldrum for the upcoming invitational tournament Revelation Cup in Mexico next month, Felele247 Media reports.

The former Ibom Angels was voted into the team of the CAF Champions League team tournament last season hosted by Morocco last year after winning the West African CAF Champions League WAFU zone B with Bayelsa Queens.

A cross section of fans of the team in Yenagoa are disaapointed over her non selection to the Super Falcons” Its a shame we see no home based players in the Super Falcons for this tournament, U bong deserve to be in the team, because merit it with her outstanding perdormance for Bayelsa Queens and in last years CAF Champions League”

“This is the time for those people in the Nigeria Football Federation to start looking for new talent”

“She should have be discovered by them and not CAF that will be doing the work for us, my question is do they know they are doing?

“We don’t know they or any criteria for inviting player to the Super Falcons, its a shame”

Edet Glory joined Confluence Queens in 219 before moving to the reigning Aiteo Cup (Federation Cup) Bayelsa Queens in 2020.
