Mighty Jets International FC set to resume training on Wednesday

General Manager of Nigeria National League side, Mighty Jets International FC of Jos, Ferdinand Mbum has approved the resumption date for the commencement of training ahead of the 2023/2024 League season.

Returning players and the club’s technical crew are expected to resume camp as the team is set to begin training and screening for the recruitment of new players from Wednesday 26th July to Sunday 30th July 2023.

All players who are still under contract at the club are hereby directed to return to camp, with immediate effect.

The GM adds that the club has limited time to prepare for the new season and desires the coaches to expedite the recruitment process.

Meanwhile, the contracts of all players in the main team as well as the feeder team who are playing on loan are terminated with immediate effect.

This is because the legal department of the club has briefed the GM on the immediate and long-term implications of having so many loan players within the fold of the team.

You’ll recall that Mighty Jets International FC missed last season’s playoffs to the Economics and Financial Crimes Commission FC in the final match of the 2022/2023 Nigeria National League season by a 2-0 score-line away in Abuja.
