The Government of Côte d’Ivoire and CAF announce media logistics for the CAF 45th Ordinary General Assembly, including free visas
The Government of Côte d’Ivoire, the Fédération Ivoirienne de Football (FIF) and the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) have announced the media logistics for the 45th Ordinary General Assembly to be held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on 13 July 2023.
The accredited media, having received a letter of approval from CAF before 04 July 2023, will receive a VISA on arrival in Abidjan. To do so, they will have to present the confirmation letter and the accreditation number.
CAF will not be able to assist media requesting a visa after 02 July 2023, the closing date for accreditation applications.
Collection of accreditation:
Approved media may collect their accreditation on 11 and 12 July 2023 between 11:00 and 17:00 at the Sofitel Hotel in Abidjan. No accreditation will be issued on 13 July 2023 as the centre will be closed.
Declaration of media equipment:
You will need to pick up an ATA carnet from customs in the country of departure. Inform customs that the equipment will be leaving and returning.
Customs will check the carnet on arrival and when the equipment is loaded.

Media Shuttle:
The Government of Cote d’Ivoire and FIF will provide free shuttles from the media hotels: Hôtel Palm Club and Hôtel Robert’s, on 11 –13 July 2023:
11 July: 13:00 – 16:00 (every hour)
12 July: 13:00 – 17:00 (all hours)
13 July: 07:00, 07:40, 08:20 and (return) 14:00
Media hotels:
Recommended media hotels are: Palm Club Hotel and Robert’s Hotel.
A negotiated rate has been negotiated with the hotels.
