Katsina United’s Usman Abd’allah resigns from his position

Nigeria Premier Football League side Katsina United manager Usman Abdallah has tendered his resignation letter to the management of the club with immediate effect after guiding the club back to the Nigeria Premier League, Felele247.com.ng understands.

Conflicting reports have it that the Katsina-based club management is refusing to renew the former Enyimba FC and Wikki Tourists manager contract, while another report suggests that the reason is that the club is owing the 49-year-old Super Eagles third assistant coach a 13-month salary

He joined Katsina United as manager in May 2022, where he guided the club back to the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The 2023/24 Nigeria Professional Football League season will commence on Saturday, August 26.
