Maikunkele United Football Club of Minna Announces Resumption Date Ahead Of NNL Season
… Appoints Technical Adviser.
The Management of Maikunkele United has set aside Monday 7th August 2023 as resumption date ahead of preparation for Nigeria National League (NNL) 2023/2024 season.
According to a statement by the Chairman of Club Shuaibu Yakubu (Labosa) through the media department of the team, the retained players are directed to resume training unfailingly, adding that, any player that failed to report to camp at the stipulated time shall have himself to blame.
The Statement added that agreement has been reached between the Club and former assistant Coach of Katsina United and Technical Adviser of Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi, Abdullahi Garba to become Maikunkele United’s Technical Adviser, arrangement is in top gear for the official signing and unveiling ceremony of the new coach.
It could be recall that Maikunkele United FC (a privately run club side based in Minna) gained promotion last season to participate in the most important league in Nigeria, the NNL.
The statement further added that, the Late Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium Minna is the choice venue of the team for home matches.
