Nigeria National League, NNL side Maikunkele United FC, Minna is set to unveil it’s new Technical Adviser, Abdullahi Adamu at the club house in Minna on Monday 7th August 2023.
Maikunkele United FC club Chairman Yakubu Shuaibu disclosed that the new Technical Adviser Abdullahi Adamu will be presented to the club fans and players in an unveiling ceremony.
He said that the club is moving with the global practice in football management, that all the necessary input are in place to move the club further. The club ambition is to compete at the highest level in future.
Abdullahi Adamu joined Maikunkele United after his contract expiration with Wikki Tourists FC.
Before his appointment, Abdullahi Adamu has previously worked with Nigerian Army football team Green Beret FC of Zaria and as Chief Coach at Katsina United before joining Wikki Tourists as head coach from 2021 to 2023, he took charged of the team after the departure of Kabiru Dogo during second stanza of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Abdullahi Adamu holds CAF C, B coaching certificate and UEFA Pro coaching certificate and other professional football certificate licences.
Maikunkele United FC will compete in the 2023/2024 Nigeria National League after securing promotion from the Nigeria Nationwide League Division One.
