Gidado FA Congratulates Bala, Ali Zubair And Ogunmodede For Picking NPFL Promotion Tickets

The management, staff and players of Gidado FA have congratulated the Coaches of Niger Tornadoes, Gombe United and Remo Stars on their promotion to the NPFL.

The Coaches, Bala Abubakar, Ali Zubair and Daniel Ogunmodede has successfully qualified their respective teams to the NPFL after an impressive NNL Super 8 tournament held in Enugu.

In a statement by the Gidado FA President, Alhaji Afase Babatunde Saliu noted that he never doubted the gaffers in delivering the needed results for their clubs as he also urged them to keep the momentum a top.

He recognizes the partnership between the Academy and the teams, saying he will continue to explore every available means in fulfilling the credo of its relationship with the Elite teams which involves players development and creating opportunities.

The NNL Super 8 is the last stage of qualification for the second Division clubs after the league proper, and it’s instructive to know that 3SC of Ibadan, Remo Stars, Gombe United and Niger Tornadoes have all returned back to the top league.

Niger Tornadoes defeated 3SC 3-2 in the final game played earlier on Sunday to clinch the title.
