Former Simba SC foward has been linked to returning to Tanzania Ligi Kuu with Young Africans SC being the favorites

Clatous Chama Chota could well be back at Simba SC from January 2022. As reports has it that the Zambian international and his management have agreed to the termination of his contract with RS Berkane,Felele247.com understands.

The trend is growing for a return of Clatous Chama to Simba SC. Crowned with two titles with club Msimbazi last season, the 30-year-old Zambian international was recruited by Moroccan club RS Berkane during the African transfer window in January.

Obviously, the player is struggling to adapt to his new team. This earned him less playing time from Florent Ibenge. Thus, for several weeks now, his return to Tanzania has continued to gain momentum.

Several Tanzanian media, including Tanzania Football, inform that Clatous Chama would have by mutual agreement requested the termination of his contract. As a result, during the next transfer window next January, the 30-year-old Zambian midfielder will join any club. A return to Simba SC seems to be taking shape.

Chama helped ZESCO United F.C. reach the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League before signing a 3-year contract with Egyptian side Al Ittihad. However, in February 2017, he left the club before making an official appearance. Chama played for Lusaka Dynamos F.C. before joining Tanzania’s Simba S.C. in 2018
