Bayelsa United Debunk Calms of Restraining Order by Court

Bayelsa United FC management has debunk claim over an online publication that Federal High court sitting in Yenagoa has restrained Bayelsa United from participating in the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL on account of their indebtedness to Nembe City FC.

We want to state that there is no iota of truth in that story, because the injunction was vacated on Friday January 20th, 2023 at the Federal High court Yenagoa in a suit No FHC/YNG/CS/1/2023.

The judge Hon. Justice Isa H Dashen on 20/1/2023 set aside the earlier judgment pending hearing and determination of motion on notice that all parties should maintain status quo.

The court proceedings will return on the 9th of February, 2023 with a report of service cum hearing of the application filed by Nembe City.

We advise the fake news merchants to verify before sharing in order not to cause distraction because the team is focused in it’s NPFL game against Wikki Tourist and other games.
