Cynosure FC Return to base after five weeks preseason training in Gokana.
The Cynosure Football Club coaching staff and players have returned to the Ebonyi state Capital, Abakaliki; after five weeks of intensive training at Gokana community stadium, Gokana, River State, Nigeria. They rounded up the preseason activities with a comfortable win over Willbros FC with goals from Ahiaeke Uche Stanley and Obansa Adeiza.
The preseason training was to prepare the team for the 2022/2023 NNL season. The new head coach of Cynosure FC, Coach Nathaniel Ayanwale took charge of the training activities which included few friendly matches.
In the course of the preseason activities, Cynosure FC played a couple of friendly matches to test their readiness for the new season. They played Acquire FC at Bera Central stadium Gokana, Ereme FC at macdonald secondary School, Obigbo FC at Bera Central stadium Gokana, Vandrezzer FC and FC One Rocket at Eket township stadium, Akwa Ibom State. Immortality FC, Gokana United and Willbros FC at Gokana community stadium, Gokana, River State. Totally of 8 matches was played, recording 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 lose, with a total of 14 goals scored while 8 goal was conceded with 4 clean sheets.
The head coach while reacting to the results of the preseason matches assured the fans of cynosure FC of more good results. He also requested the fans to keep supporting and praying for the team.
The top dogs are in high spirit as they are full prepared for the new season.
