KRC Genk showns interest in Aliou Dieng

Belgian outfit K.R.C Genk shown their desire to bring in Malian Internatuonal midfielder Aliou Dieng from Al Ahly SC 🇪🇬 , Felele247.com.ng understands.

Dieng joined Egyptian club Al Ahly SC in 2019 on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee, where he has played an important role for the club.

Several Clubs have shown interest in the midfielder, but the African Champions will sell their midfielder for a right price, but the Egyptian Premier League is in critical stage.

Genk scout were in the stand to monitor Dieng during the CAF Champions League against Wydad Athletic Club of Casablanca last weekend where the Egyptian side won on 3-2 aggregate.

Dieng represented a local team of Mali at the 2016 African Nations Championship, and scored a penalty in their 2–1 quarter-final win over Tunisia.

In 2020, Dieng played for the Malian national team for the first time at non-local level, in 2-1 victory against Namibia. With his home country, he also participated at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
