Lobi Stars to participate in Gusau/Ahlan Preseason tournament
As part of efforts to present a formidable and competitive team in the 2023/2024 season of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Lobi Stars Football Club will be participating in the Gusau/Ahlan Soccer Tournament in Bauchi State.
The preseason soccer tournament presents clubs the needed opportunity to fine-tune and integrate both new and old players to form solidity going into the new season to compete for laurels.
The soccer tournament will involve both NPFL Clubs as well as lower-division sides.
Meanwhile, the Makurdi-based side has been paired in group “A” alongside Kano Pillars, Wikki Tourists and Mailantarki FC.
There are 12 teams and they are paired into three groups A, B, and C.
The soccer tourney according to the organisers will kick start on Tuesday, 15th of August 2023 in Bauchi.
To this end, the “Shoe Gets Size” boys will be departing Makurdi on Monday, 14th August 2023 for the tournament as well as to prepare for the new season slated to kick off on the 26th of August 2023.
