Terem Moffi, Al Hassan Yusuf Set To Replace Ndidi and Ihenacho
There are indications that Super Eagles Head Coach of Nigeria 🇳🇬 Jose Peaeiro is set to invite French Ligue 1 side Nice Terem Moffi and Belgian based Royal Antwerp attacker Alhassan Yusuf as a possible replacement for the injured Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, Felele247.com.ng understands.
Leicester City announced on Monday that both Ndidi and Ihenacho are injured via their website about the injury both players sustained.
Felele247.com.ng gathered that Jose Peaeiro who arrived The United Arab Emirates on Tuesday evening with his coaching gangs will need to announce a replacement for both injured players as the Super Eagles is set to commence their close camping ahead of the January 14 AFCON 2023 Group A match against Equatorial Guinea in Abidjan.
Terem Moffi was invited by Head Coach Gernot Rohr included Moffi in his 31-man list for friendlies in June. Moffi debuted with the Super Eagles in a 1–0 loss to Cameroon on 4 June 2021.
This wil be the first national duty for Al Hassan Yusuf who has had a very promising season in the colour of Royal Antwerp after joining from Swedish IFK Gothenburg in 2021.
