ROTDUWE GOBUM SAVES PENALTY AS OGONYI MATHEW’S BRILLIANT EQUALISER SNATCHES AN AWAY POINT FOR MIGHTY JETS INT’L FC

Mighty Jets Int’l FC will return home with a precious away point thanks to their relentless effort in coming from behind to snatch a point against NAF FC in Abuja.

Experience goalkeeper, Rotduwe Gobum, created an atmosphere of optimism for Mighty Jets Int’l early in the game when he saved a 9th minute penalty against their host.

However, NAF FC continued to press and they got their reward in the 23rd minute when they put the ball beyond the reach of Gobum.

Jets were quite unlucky to end the first half without a goal as 16 year old midfield genius, Ukeyima Emmanuel, hit the post twice.

Mighty Jets Int’l FC, fully determined not to end the game with no point, took charge of the encounter in the second half with lots of attacking display and later got a deserved equaliser.

Impressive Ogonyi Mathew produced a moment of magic with an unstoppable solo run to equaliser for Jets in the 75th minute.

This performance and the result is a good consolidation on their massive 2-0 home win over ABS FC 4 days ago as they continue to push their status on the table.

Coach Najib Mabo’s men will continue to perfect their strategies in training as they welcome Nasarawa United FC in their next outing.
