Al Ahly Benghazi threaten Simba SC over Sadio Kanoute transfer

Reports coming in from Libya has it that Al-Ahly Benghazi are threatening to report Tanzania giants Simba SC to the football governing body FIFA for failing to pay the remaining balance of $50,000 USD over for the transfer of Malian midfielder Sadio Kanoute,Felele247.com understands.

Felele247.com gathered Simba SC has initially made a payment of $100,000 USD immediately after the transfer was completed and promise to pay the balance in October this year which the Dar Es Salam based side failed to pay.

The 21 years old was signed by Simba SC from Al Ahly Benghazi in 2020 after spending a season. He left Stade de Malien after spending six seasons to join Al Ahly Benghazi in 2018.

Al-Ahly Sports Cultural & Social Club (Arabic: النادي الأهلي الرياضي الثقافي الاجتماعي‎) known as Al-Ahly SCSC is a Libyan Sports club based in Benghazi, Libya. Al-Ahly SC has its roots in a political party, the Omar al Mukhtar society.

Al-Ahly SC Libya was made a professional football club in 1947, although they had existed years before then.
