Eikki Tourists FC Captain Idris Muhammed Guda has said that the team is battle ready for the coming 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League Season.
Guda made the disclosure after the club’s training at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi ahead the team’s opening game against Niger Tornadoes on Sunday 08/01/2023.
‘We have been training so hard since resuming camp after the last break and the couple of matches we have played in both pre season friendlies and Competition are pointers on how prepared we are,Guda emphasized.
On the abridge league format adopted by the Interim Management Committee for the coming season, Guda admitted that it will be tough but was quick to add that they are ready to give all they have to ensure victory.
‘We are fully aware of the critical nature of the abridge league and therefore not leaving anything to chance at ensuring victory in all our matches,Guda affirmed.
While commenting on the seminar organized by the Management of the club for players,officials, supporters and other staff on the rules in football,the Wikki Tourists captain said it has greatly impacted more knowledge and understanding of the game which he assured will be helpful during the league.
The Captain used the opportunity to appeal for more understanding and prayers from the club’s teeming supporters to help the club succeed.
WIkki Tourists FC will on Sunday 08/ 01/2023 host Niger Tornadoes on the opening day of the 2022/23 League Season in Bauchi.
