Former Enyimba FC goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode joins South Africa club

South Africa DStv Premiership side Lamontville Golden Arrows, has completed the signing of Nigerian-born goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode, on a 2-year deal, as they boost their squad to be title challenge this season, Felele247.com.ng understands.

The South African side announced the former Lobi Stars arrival of the shot-stopper on their official social media pages, brandishing the Nigerian international who has featured for Lobi Stars and Enyimba FC in the Nigeria top-flight league as well as in CAF-organised club competitions.

The experienced bulky goalie spent a few years of his professional football career with Sunshine Stars, before joining Akwa United for a year stint. He was snapped by Nigeria’s most successful football club.

Olufemi Kayode later landed in Akwa United where he teamed up with his last club in Nigeria, enjoying a good run of form with the before being scouted by Golden Arrows.

Olufemi Kayode is the second Nigerian goalkeeper in the South Africa DStv Premiership.
